Working Experience
As a designer with experience, Kina Amir has broad experience and a great deal of technical skill to provide a solid foundation for all projects. A commitment to craft and design excellence are recognized by clients, associates, and the media. Whether working on a building, a neighbourhood or full-scale city project, professionalism and creativity always show up.
FREELANCE DESIGNER
November 2017 - Present
Developed skills, particularly 3D modelling and graphic design. Created graphic designs such as wedding invitation and advertisement for clients.
JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
March 2016 - August 2016
Prepared various drawing packages including technical, design, and presentation drawings of various running projects of the company including banks, offices, and residential. Assisted senior designers in material selections for material boards, proposed space plannings, and created mood boards for the next project.
SALES DESIGNER
August 2015 - February 2016
Proposed suitable materials for window dressings, soft furnishings, and wallpapers for customers. Liaised ongoing orders with customers, observed installations, prepared strategies for sales, and processed customer orders.
DESIGN INTERN
December 2010 - May 2011
Assisted senior designers to propose space planning and proposed to design director. Attended site visit most of the time to select materials, furniture marking, meeting up with clients and contractors, as well as to inspect the buildings.
Education
Kina Amir has dedicated years to study and broaden her skills in interior design field. A committed young professional who always has "can do" attitude and will never missed any chance of opportunities. Her educational background and employment trained to be a responsible and goal oriented designer, and adaptable to tight deadlines. In addition, it helped to gain experience and understand more about building construction and materials. A knowledgeable designer regarding various design concepts, techniques and processes, also capable to handle the demands of interior design office with orders, communicating with suppliers, and always seek for a new experience for her future betterment.

PROFILE
Atikah Sakinah Amir, comfortably called Kina, is a recent graduate with one-year experience in interior design field with projects ranging from soft furnishings and decorations, to office, banks, and royal residence. Experienced in AutoCAD and SketchUp, thus prepared most drawing packages during employment. Passionate in model making and familiar with manual and automatic workshop machinery. An ambitious multitasker who able to work under pressure and operate multiple projects simultaneously. A dedicated design professional eager to gain experience in a new creative environment.

An adventurous woman with approachable personality, she enjoys outdoor activities like scuba diving, wall climbing, solo travelling, and archery. Warm sunny days in London is best-loved, and her favourite genre of musics are always country, indie, and alternative rocks. A part from that, she appreciates home cooking with family and friends and always try to find some time to spend with people around her.
